When you get into a battle with an alien, you can use your spaceship to attack them. It is a good idea to protect yourself, because if you are not protected, you will get captured. If you are captured, you will be forced to fight in a battle. If you win, you will be rewarded.
If you are not ready to fight, you can join the friendly mode. You can choose to play in the single-player mode, or you can play with other people. You can even play online.
